File requirements:

Please make sure the file you are uploading is a minimum of 300dpi for best printing results. We are not responsible for poor quality printing if the artwork provided does not meet the requirements.

Setting up your document:

Choose the size of the transfer that you will be ordering prior to setting up your document. Your document whether you are using photoshop, canva, affinity etc, should all be 300dpi.

The size for your document should be as follows:

• A5  Document Size -5.8 x 8.2 inches
• A4  Document Size -8.3 x 11.7 inches
• 5 inch roll  Document Size -5 x 17.5 inches
• 10 inch roll  Document Size -10 x 17.5 inches
• 20 inch roll  Document Size -20 x 17.5 inches
• 40 inch roll  Document Size -40 x 17.5 inches
• 80 inch roll  Document Size -80 x 17.5 inches

Other Requirements:

• Your artwork must have a transparent background- unless you want it as a full print cut as one rectangle.
• Please view the red cut line on the provided image of the cow- all artwork will have an interior cutline to eliminate any white edges, please allow for this when designing your artwork as any extremely small lines may be lost.

Please note- designs with lots of small text are unsuitable for eco solvent printing. If you’re unsure if your artwork will work, please email us your artwork at hello@MeMyselfAndMisha.com and we can tell you the suitability. We do have another service that we can offer in this instance, but the shipping time is extended as we outsource the printing for products unsuitable for eco-solvent printing. All eco-solvent printing is completed in house.

Application:

1. Weed your chosen design to remove any white/unwanted pieces from the background.
2. Apply your transfer mask over the artwork and rub with a squeegee (or ruler or something similar).
3. Peel off the backing and place the transfer on your tshirt/pillow etc. Apply a teflon sheet over the top.
4. Press the tshirt at 370 fahrenheit/190 celsius for 15 seconds with medium pressure.
5. Peel off the transfer mask, reapply the teflon sheet and press again for 30 seconds.

Please note- times and temperatures are a guide only, you may need to adjust them to suit your equipment. You should be able to easily see the dimples of the tshirt/pillow material through the vinyl. 

Please ensure your chosen material is suitable to customizing and can accept high levels of heat before application. 

 

Care Instructions:

Machine wash at 30 or less.

Do Not Tumble Dry.

Do not dry on a radiator.

Do not Bleach.

Do not Iron over design.

 

Please note:

For best results you should apply with an industry standard heat press. If you are purchasing the transfers for one day use, it is possible to apply them with a home iron (turn off the steam before application), however they will not last long term if applying with a home iron so bare this in mind when ordering. We take no responsibility for incorrect application of the transfers.

Home iron application instructions-

1. Weed your chosen design to remove any white/unwanted pieces from the background. (This can be completed with a tweezers or arranged to be done for you beforehand for an additional fee, please contact us prior to ordering if you would like us to weed the artwork for you).
2. Apply your transfer mask over the artwork and rub with a squeegee (or ruler or something similar).
3. Peel off the backing and place the transfer on your tshirt etc. Put a sheet of non-greasy/oily baking paper over the top of the design.
4. Press the tshirt with your irons highest heat setting for 15 seconds with medium pressure.
5. Peel off the transfer mask and re-apply the sheet of baking paper over the artwork and press again for 30 seconds.

Do NOT touch the artwork with the iron without baking paper over the top of it, it will stick to your iron if you do.

Please note- times and temperatures are a guide only, you may need to adjust them to suit your equipment. You should be able to easily see the dimples of the tshirt/pillow material through the vinyl.
